What Will Take Place at My New Patient Visit?

 

The doctors, with the help of their staff, will review your medical and dental history.  They will perform a comprehensive oral exam and update any necessary radiographs.

 

 

Will I Have My Teeth Cleaned at My New Patient Visit?

 

Your first visit will help the doctors to determine which specific cleaning/hygiene services are necessary for your oral health. After your initial visit the staff will schedule you for the hygiene services prescribed by the doctor.

 

 

Should I Obtain My Dental Records From My Previous Dental Provider?

 

Yes, it is very helpful for our providers to have records and radiographs from your previous dentist.  Providing your prior dentist with a signed Records Release Form will allow them to forward your records to our office via mail or secure email.

 

 

Does Merrimack Dental Associates Accept All Insurance Programs?

 

The dentists at Merrimack Dental Associates are Northeast Delta Dental Providers.  Dr. Herod and the dental hygiene department are Premier providers and Dr. Antonsson is a PPO provider.   As a courtesy, we will submit to most other carriers on your behalf.  Currently, our office does not accept Medicaid, Medicare, or NH Healthy Kids.

Does Merrimack Dental Associates Offer a Senior Discount?

 

As a courtesy, a 10% senior discount is available at Merrimack Dental Associates to patients 70+ who do not carry dental insurance on services that do not require an outside specialist or laboratory.
